Concept & Design
|
Labyrinth is designed by Andrea Vinkovic and made by ClayMake Studio makers in a series of workshops. Clay “rocks” are uniform in size and the brief to the makers is to depict human environment on one side and nature on the other side.
As “rocks” are seen in order conditional by direction of viewers walk through Labyrinth the imagery creates different stories juxtaposing human environment on one side and nature on the other side of the path. |

Installation
After the firing, ceramic pieces are filled with aerated concrete with imbedded steel pipe. That way work can be slotted onto the pipe of smaller diameter that is part of the footings, and locked in to secure the work in the harsh ocean shore environment.
